  A timeworn beauty! This textile is an antique French curtain panel. The body , the Turkey red cotton , I would date to the very early 1800\'s and the border I would have dated c 1870. My thoughts are that the border was added at a later date, but difficult to say exactly! This textile is timeworn, holes, tears, rust marks, and fading!! Please view photographs closely! ~*~ There is something just wonderful about this textile!! Some lovely gathers at the top of the curtain panel - gorgeous! It is really best to view the photographs to view condition closely ~*~ this panel would look amazing hung in a timeworn interior or would be ideal too for deconstruction and used for many many projects ~*~ ( piece 37 )
