Amazing William Ellis Tucker Covered Sugar Bowl.
Gold trim with drip edge. Hand painted floral pattern.
In excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. There is some loss to the gold trim as expected. See the pictures for more details.
I received these as a lot with some other pieces, one of which was marked as William Ellis Tucker, Philadelphia. Tucker\'s work looked similar to Old Paris porcelain. I am fairly confident this is Tucker because it matches the pattern of the other pieces and there is an impressed script W on the bottom which was used by Andrew Craig Walker who worked in the Tucker factory. There is a Tucker pattern book in the Philadelphia Museum, but the museum is closed and I can not find any information on this set.
See the pictures for more information.
Beautiful piece for any collection. The item will be carefully packed.
