I don’t know that you can date these accurately by the tangstamp, but based on the high quality level (and the button hook blade), Ibelieve that his knife dates from the late 1800’s to early 1900’s.
Six-blade “Senator Penknife” pattern, 2-7/8” closed.
Brass liners, nickel silver tip bolsters and pins. Thecenter liners have milled edges all the way around.
All blades/tools have strong snap, no wobble.
Fiery mother of pearl handles. No cracks or chips.
A near mint knife – never used, carried, or sharpened,original factory finish and edges on all blades/tools.
Calling it “near mint” only due to a few microscopic pepperspecks, but this knife is as close to MINT as you will find a knife this old.
