Antique English Aesthetic Ironstone Lidded Butter Dish Dome c1880 Mason\'s For Sale

Antique unmarked lidded bowl, originally a butter dish, with an English Aesthetic brown transferware partially hand colored and gilded. Gilding on the lid is still good but shows signs of wear on the bowl, which would have been washed more often. Earthenware is very strong suggesting some form of Ironstone typical for this period such as Mason\'s6 1/4\" max width. 5\" max height.
