Up for sale is a very lightly used (I believe it had never been issued when I bought it) SPH-4 helmet with AH-1 cobra HSS (helmet sighting system) installed. In addition to the HSS assembly the helmet also come with the offset adapter plate and anvis nvg mount (which can be easily removed by way of 3 screws which clamp it to the visor assembly thru the visor track). When I got the helmet I added the velcro to the back (for mounting an NVG batter pack) and cut a tennis ball to fit over the rear linkage mount (as can be seen in many period photographs to protect both the canopy when not in use and the helmet bag when stored). This is an excellent display piece and probably the cleanest example you will find. Feel free to message me with any questions.
