1960’s(?) Auto Lite Original Metal Parts Cabinet & Shelving Unit - GREAT LOOKING For Sale

Thisis a very nice original metal parts cabinet and shelving unit display forAuto-Lite automobile parts and supplies. Although I’m not sure of theexact age, based on its look, style, and Auto-Lite logo, I am guessing it isfrom the 1960’s, but that is only a guess. This original store display isFANTASTIC to look at and displays VERY WELL, especially in a period correctautomobile or gas and oil collection. The smaller size of the display isan added advantage because not only won’t it take up a lot of space in yourroom, but it has the added benefit of being able to display smallercollectibles both on the top and on the shelves. When assembled, as shownin the photos, it is 41.75” tall, 24.75” wide, and 12.25” deep. The topdrawer unit/lid portion can be lifted off the base shelf for separatedisplaying, if that fits your needs better. (Although I would prefer tohave this picked up, I am willing to ship it, but it won’t be inexpensive dueto its size and weight.) The display is made of metal and even comeswith its ORIGINAL and UNOPENED envelope of operating materials andinstructions! The drawers even have their original metal dividers inplace and the original Auto-Lite logo decal is still in place on the flip uplid! The decal has some minor wear along the edges, but still displaysvery nicely with nice and strong colors. The metal cabinet is in VERYnice shape with some minor dents, the “worst” being at the front of the topshelf, but even that isn’t real bad and should be able to be easilystraightened, if you wanted. The original blue color is still in placewith some noticeable scratches and chips in the paint, but nothinghorrible. It has aged VERY nicely and will fit perfectly in collection oflike items from this period. This REALLY appeals to the automobile andgas and oil themed collections! Although short of perfect, this originaladvertising piece is in very nice shape and displays very well. Andserves that added benefit of being able to display other smaller pieces whilealso displaying itself! It will make a great addition to any Auto-Lite,automobile, gas and oil, general store, or advertising collection!
