This is an original antique terra-cotta clay Mexican water pot. It is very primitive and very rustic. I believe it to be from the 1920s. This kind of pot was used to store water that was gathered from a river near the people\'s settlement. The pot is 18\" tall and has a diameter approximately 14\" measured from the mid-section of the pot. The pot\'s circumference is 44\" measured around the middle of the pot. The pot has a heavy metal iron stand that is 18\" tall. The pot is in good condition for its age, showing normal wear consistent with its age and use. The pot is definitely a hand crafted fired pot. Besides the fact that it is a valuable collectible in its own way, this pot will be a magnificent addition to your Southwest or Mexico Decor.
