Sharp out the box , centered blade with no play , cool zombie standoffs , nice weight g10 handles well textured with buffered edges, and a flat black clip with no play. Doesn't have a lanyard hole, but you can be creative using the clip or standoff if you must have a fob. A little bit pricy but I had to pull to trigger for a 940. :0)

The 940-2 carries very well with the deep carry clip because of the slim profile and light weight. The G-10 is way too smooth to get a good grip. This affects everything a knife is used for. My hand needed to be high on the handle (toward the blade) to use the thumb stud to open the blade. That sucked.

I really like the g-10 version of the Osborne, along with the green spacers. But why do they draw attention to the back of the knife so that you can see that the g-10 screws are too long and show in the interior. Come on Benchmade, for $170 you should use the right length screws. Otherwise a great remembrance of the late great Warren Osborne.

This is the most cost effective 940 that Benchmade makes. It sports a S30V reverse tanto blade and black G10 scales highlighted by green barrel spacers. This version of the famous 940 offers the same functionality as its more costly brethren and is a great starting point for your venture into high-end production knives.

Excellent locking mechanism. The g10 scales are grippy and light. The blade is nice. Overall great for and finish.
