The tray is marked on the bottom "EPNS with shields, Reed & Barton, 1600". The tray measures approximately 13 inches long, 8 inches wide and 1-1/2 inches tall. The dish has some dings, scratches and tarnish in areas and could benefit from a professional polish but is otherwise in good vintage condition. (See photos)via wikipedia: Belle Kogan (1902–2000) was a Russian born industrial designer and is regarded as the first prominent female in the profession in the United States (Godmother of Industrial Design) as well as one of the founders of the profession itself.
