    Item may require hand washing.

    I expected the writing on the plate to be baked into the finish. It appears to me that the raised lettering will wash off over time and should likely not be placed in the dishwasher. Do you know if the company recommends hand washing this item?

    Review of the red plate

    It was advertised as being from Germany. But it had a sticker, made in Thiland. Also said it and a pen with which was not included as well as original box and card explaining the origin.
