As a world renowned artisan I took on this project to create something special. This beautiful bottle opener, crafted with an exotic leopardwood blank with its unusual grain and patterns, was cut, drilled, and prepared for hand turning on my midi Delta lathe. When the desired shape was accomplished I then took it through a fourteen stage sanding process, followed by a thirteen stage polishing and waxing process. The result is a durable, glass-like finish that is sure to please.
