Time and place of being built are unknown but guessing it to be early to mid-1900s, and in USA (this is NOT confirmed- only speculation based on research of this item in comparing to similar cases in circulation.) Really neat, unique vintage item showing its age with some wear to the wood “at some seams” but overall in good condition. There are no noticed rough edges and the top bar to access inside of case seems functional as intended.
