This reprinted 8 1/2s x 11 staple bound book, with 280 page, details the organizationand training of the 88th Infantry Division at Camp Dodge in 1917.There is a great bio of the of the CG, Commanding General, Major GeneralWilliam Weigel, U.S.A.
They arrived in France during September 1918, andparticipated in the Meuse Argonne Offensive for the final push into Germany toend the War. Their victory medal would have had the Meuse Argonne and theDefensive Sector Bars. This book details their combat history in thosecampaigns, and the back of the book is a names listing of the soldiers in thedivision.
