Wihoa Pottery Rick Wisecarver Hand-painted Signed Art Pottery Portrait Vase For Sale

Wihoa Pottery ~ Here's a nice Rick Wisecarver (1950-2002) hand-painted signed art pottery portrait pillow vase. This piece measures 7" tall, approx 7.5" across at the widest point. This wonderful piece depicting a native American tribal Chief, in a full feather headdress. Wisecarver was an excellent painter and his Native American portraits are delightfully realistic! It is signed on the bottom Wihoa's Hand Painted Art Pottery, initialed by the artist, Roseville and is dated '85. It has no chips, but I see a very tight hairline on the back side from the mouth extending less than an inch down. This is tight and does not affect the display of the piece. There is a spot on the front of glaze color just above the chief, this is under the glaze and is an original flaw(?) to the piece. A beautiful piece for your collection.
