As you can see from the pictures, this pen is in stunning condition. Thecolors are vibrant and uniform on both the cap an barrel. Pen has beendisassembled, cleaned and put in excellent working order, including new sack.It fills and write properly. No skips, or blobs of ink. No digging into thepaper. Pen measures 5 ΒΌ inch capped and 6 5/8 inch posted. Even unposted, whichis my preferred position, it is very comfortable to write with for me: a lefthanded underwriter with relatively small hands. Nib has some flexibility, asseen in the very slight writing sample shading, but certainly not a wet noodle,by any means. It lays down a fine wet even line under normal writing pressure.No obvious scratches (see pictures) and imprints, both on the barrellongitudinally (see photo) and circumferentially near the end of the barrel,are clear and sharp, tough their fineness gets lost in the bright colors andcontrasts.

They are an integral part of thedescription. Never, ever put drafting ink such as Indiaink or Carters drawing ink in the pen. It will ruin the pen. Only fountain penink, of which there are endless choices available. If you are offerding on alever fill fountain pen, remember that to fully fill the sac, after immersingthe nib and a little of the section in ink and returning the lever to itsclosed position, count to ten before withdrawing the pen from the ink, to givethe sac enough time to fill.
