WWII German K98 Rifle Bayonet + Scabbard Eickhorn + Double S/N# For Sale

Interesting WWII K98 Bayonet made by Eickhorn. Bayonet measures 15.25" overall with a blade length of 10", excellent blade with grease on it. The blued finish is 98%. The grips are in very good condition with some fading on them. Excellent working press-stud, no Waffenampt markings on the pommel end or on press-stud. So the markings on the ricasso area of the blade are: 8146 bb and 42 cof on the opposite side. The cross-guard too has a serial no of 8299. The scabbards original markings on the neck are: 7597 J with the other side marked, cof 43 (cof stands for Carl Eickhorn). The frog stud has an additional serial no of 3435. See photos.
