WWI War Medal Pte John Arthur Nowotna born and enlisted at Murtoa Victoria an Australian of Wendish descent was WIA twice firstly at Polygon Wood and then a year later St Quentin Canal. Served with the 59th battalion. Returned to Australia in 1919. Entitled to a Victory Medal as well the whereabouts of this is unknown to me.
