Wonderful example of WWI Trench Art. Brass artillery shell casing made into a very decorative vase. Hand stamped with hundreds of stars, a shield with the initials A.E.F. and a ribbon with the dates 1914 and 1918. The lower half is fluted and the top is cut like petals. Marked France on the back. A great accent piece for a home office, bookcase, or fireplace mantel. Brass has areas that are rusted(see pics). Stands 13 1/2\"
