This WW2 US Grouping belonged to Sergeant Maurice Dickman from Covington, KY and Cincinnati, OH who fought with the 99th Infantry Division during the Battle of the Bulge in December and January 1945. He eventually served with 79th Infantry Division after the Bulge and throughout fighting in Germany, and later on the 1st Infantry Division during the occupation of Germany.
Every uniform piece has either his laundry number or army serial number, and is complete with documentation that can be provided when requested through personal messaging.
This grouping includes two complete Ike jackets, two wool shirts with patches and rank affixed, a custom sewn undershirt, overseas cap, dog tags, Bronze Service Medal awarded for actions during the Battle of the Bulge to include the medal citation, an extensive photo album he assembled from photographs he had taken with his personal camera during the war, various war trophy’s and bring backs to include a captured Nazi podium banner.
There are also items from his brother Ralph Dickman that are in the grouping, these items include; Army Service cap, various documents and newspaper clippings, dog tags, war bring backs and an yet another extensive photo collection.
The whole grouping is original and authentic to the period and no item surpasses 1945, most if not all items are pre-1945.
