Vtg Chandelier Crystal Prisms 50 Pcs 2-Part Faceted Glass Drops Antique 3-3¾\" A+ For Sale

Today I am offering this fabulous lot of 50 antique/vintage chandelier replacement crystal prism drops.

They are clear glass and have two sections held together with metal brass wire.

The top part is a beveled or multi-faceted ½\" wide 8-sided octagonal-shaped pillow-cut bead.

This piece comes to a point on the back side, which makes for the best refraction of light to create that divine sparkle.

The bottom sections are 3\" long pointy dangling prisms with 6 vertical side panels, and many facets at the tip. These are about ½\" across at the widest point.

The two parts are held together with brass wires. You can tell they are old just from the look of the metal.

They measure approximately 3⅝\" from top to bottom as whole units.

This lot is in excellent condition. I don\'t see any cracks or chips. A few have tiny bubbles in the glass and very minor imperfections from production. The wires seem sturdy despite the age.

If you look at these super close-up, you\'ll notice the wires are attached in two slightly different methods. When viewed all together it is a barely perceivable difference but I wanted to mention it for complete accuracy and transparency.

Some of the tips are a little less sharp than others, but not broken. This might be on account of the two different wire attachment styles I mentioned. Again it\'s not noticeable in the overall scheme of things.

A few of the wires are slightly janky and might need straightening out, but nothing serious or egregious.

I\'m not sure when they were made. My guess is around the 1910s-1920s maybe?
