Rare Antique GENERAL HARDWARE MFG Co. N.Y. LARGE SOLID BRASS 3 PIECE PLUMB BOB 8” TALL 2 lbs. 5 oz. Purchased From Recent Estate Sale in Excellent Condition. This very well made unique style plumb bob is a 3 piece design and comes with its original twine reel. The twine reel is a very strong magnet with a flat piece of steel is its cap. This rare old plumb bob could easily go back to work and would certainly make a nice addition to any collection. I was unable to find another one exactly like it.
