Vtg 2000 ~ Snoopy Saxophone Animated Phone ~50th Anniversary Peanuts WORKS VIDEO
READ: This phone was tested and is in working order. See video and have your sound turned on……
…. But it has the following faults you need to be aware of:
****EDGE OF SUN GLASSES BROKEN OFF (see photo)
**** I think it originally had animation - no movements now
****Jazz song plays with demo button only, and doesn't have a very clear sound. It does not play when the phone rings (I think it may have originally). The phone rings like a regular phone - send me a text if you'd like to see that video - I could only upload one video.
****WOODSTOCK CHARACTER MISSING (supposed to be standing on steps)****
*****NO BOX*****
***Snoopy has yellowed with age ***
**** The battery compartment had corroded batteries when I got it. I removed the old batteries and cleaned the terminals and compartment but there is still some rust marks.
Now all that said, this is still a great piece! It's clean - no scratches - looks fabulous. What an amazing gift for a Snoopy/Joe Cool/Peanuts fan, especially if they still use an actual house phone! Otherwise, just put him on a shelf and admire him.The phone plugs in to a regular phone wall outlet with a regular phone cord. The attached push button handset is cleverly disguised as the bottom steps of the stage.
The base unit takes 4 C batteries to make the song work by pressing demo button. The phone itself rings and works without the batteries. Batteries and wall cord not included.
