Vintage cherub lamp restored Antique For Sale

This listing is for: Vintage cherub lamp restored Antique. This lamp is very old, has a very heavy stand that is probably all metal under the paint. The lamp has likely been restored by the previous owner. I purchased this at an estate sale.

By the looks of the plug I'd say 30's or 40's, but it could be earlier or later period than that. Probably brass is the metal I'm guessing, but it could be anything I guess as far as metals go. It is a nice piece that is rather unique in the world of lighting.

Includes lamp shade. No lightbulb included.

See photos but it looks like it has been painted, and a new base stand (with hot glue that is separating) for the bottom looks aftermarket as well. The fabric along the cord was also added I believe in the restoration, and likely the paint job as well. The lamp is a beautiful antique cherub lamp that would look amazing on any nightstand or bookshelf. The paint job, original or aftermarket, gives the lamp a very old look with the chip in the paint and the well done paint job.
