Vintage U.S. Dunhill Service Lighter NEW in box, Burd Piston Rings Advertisement For Sale

1940s-early 1950s U.S. Dunhill Service Lighter with original box. The Dunhill was a popular item with U.S. service men & women in WWII, but this one seems to have been repurposed as an advertisement for the famous Burd Piston Ring Company of Rockford, Illinois. Burd sponsored the 1938 Indianapolis 500 champion car. With a gray painted finish, this looks to be in unused and excellent condition. The original box is in fine condition except for one side flap has detached--likely due to curious people over the decades. The lighter is untested by me, but my research says add flints & fluid and light it up!
