Vintage Spiral Screwdriver, Goodell Bros. Co., Patented July 22, 1890 For Sale

This 11" Goodell Brothers Vintage Screwdriver was manufactured in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts and was patented on July 22, 1890. You can view this information on the brass neck of the tool - the writing is faded but is visible with a magnifying glass. It has some small specs of paint on the handle an the shank of the tool. The tool expands to 15 inches. The wooden handle is in very good condition. Not too bad for a 134 year old tool. A great survivor and testament to early American manufacturing history.
