Vintage Schlitz On Tap Flashing Neon Beer Bar Sign Advertising Man Cave Pub Old For Sale

For sale is a vintage Schlitz Beer “On Tap” Flashing Neon Beer Sign. This is a “Barn Find” and appears to be older and all original. The neon all works but I’m not sure if the flasher is working correctly. The “On Tap” lettering flashes on and off but it is not smooth and seems a little erratic. The neon colors are a vibrant red and white. Lettering on the rear of the sign says, “The Beer That Made Milwaukee Famous.” I’m not sure when the sign was manufactured (1960’s?) but as you can tell from the photos, it is not a reproduction. The unit measures: 28 inches long x 11-1/2 inches tall x 5 inches deep. One of the name plates say, “GHN Neon Co. Inc. Culver City and San Francisco California.” Another plate says “Property of Jos. Schuitz Brewing Co., Milwaukee Wisconsin, USA, Cat 7530, Fa-152, Serial 370, Pri 120 volts, 60 Cycles, 240 VA, Sec77500 Volts, 30 MA, The France Manufacturing Co. Westlake, Ohio, Made in USA.” This sign would look good in a bar, restaurant or a man cave.
