Handmade by Escoffier in Provence, France,this pair of Santons de Provence is dressed in authentic reproduction costumes of a shepherd and a baker. The larger man carries a sheep under his arm and cloak and the woman carries a basket of baguettes. They are full terracotta figurines with painted faces, dressed in cloth period garments. The female figurine has the original Escoffier label attached to her skirt. The condition is excellent, see photos. Shepherd: 12" tallBaker: 10" tall
