This sauce pot or stock pot is not only beautiful but sits flat.

The lid fits perfectly and creates a slight vacuum when set down or picked up. One can instantly feel the quality of this pre-WW2 American made pan. The copper bottom has a pronounced and rounded definition between the surface of the stainless and where it starts. It was made in either 1939 or 1940 and It is very rare to find one of these in such good condition.
