This carafe is worth a look as it is rare, unique and just cool. It is made by ALFI in Germany. The outside is brushed aluminum and the inside is glass vacuum for insulation and temperature retention with a rubber stopper. The most delightful part is the handle which i believe is bakelite, orange in color and optimally designed for the hands. The jug does show some wear with dents, dings and scratches on the outside, the inside and stopper are intact. Despite its vintage condition and flaws, it is still just beautiful!
