A pair of vintage 20th-century Native North American Indian handmade beaded moccasins, boots.
They look to be Inuit and are crafted using a combination of red and navy-blue blanket wool, beaded with floral patterns. They have sturdy cotton linings. The bottoms are tanned leather elk or moose. Looking at the leather bottoms. There are some moth bites in the wool. But, I don't see any signs of wear.
The bottom of the foot is 11" long and approximately 5 1/2" across at the ball of the foot when pressed flat. They are 16.5" high. Near the top, when pressed flat, they measure 8 1/2" across
