Vintage Motorola Model SK556CU Wood Cabinet Stereo Local Pickup Only For Sale

Up for sale, and for local pick up only, is this vintage Motorola Model SK556CU Wood Cabinet Stereo being offered as a project or repurpose item. This was in my grandparents’ living room for nearly as long as I can remember and I am 60 years old. I apologize for the quality of the photos, and if you can’t tell from them the finish on the top is a little sun faded and has a few water spots. There had also been a couple of stacks of albums on it, so you can see some lines where the surface underneath them was protected. Although I was sure that it still worked when they were alive, and the innards are very clean, when I tried to turn it on nothing seemed to happen-and yes, I did make sure that it was plugged in. I’ve been married long enough to anticipate certain questions. Please only offer if you can pick it up in the town of Pataskala which is a few miles east of Columbus Ohio. I can give you at least a few weeks, maybe longer, if you need some time, but I will need 25% of the winning offer as a non-refundable down payment if you want me to do that. Otherwise I would like to see it picked up within roughly 10 days. The dimensions are 64” long, 18” deep and 25” high. Some minor scratches here and there but in overall good shape. My grandparents were country folk, but they never wrassled in the living room. 😎
