This vintage lot of 4 Prestone Antifreeze advertising post cards is a must-have for any collector of Victorian trade cards. Featuring whimsical illustrations by Lawson Wood, these cards depict mischievous monkeys ruining a bright yellow car. The scene is cartoony and meant to provide a laugh while delivering a solid message from the company. The cards date back to the 1950’s and give a glimpse into what anti freeze ads were like back then. Each of the cards is in great condition with very minimal color fading and wear. The text on each card front and back is still perfectly legible. The cards each measure about 5.5” wide and 3” tall.
