Vintage Last Supper plaque with Stations of the cross etched metal on leather For Sale

After scouring antique markets in Europe, South America, Asia and Mexico for the past 15 years this is the first time I have had the opportunity to purchase a rare piece like this. This fine antique plaque of The Last Supper features scenes depicting the stations of the cross. The detailed etching is very impressive on this metal retablo of brass and copper with a nicely patinaed silver overlay. The piece is securely attached to a warm carmel colored leather that is beautifully embossed with gold leaf motifs.
