Condition: Nice, pre-owned collection LOT of 2 slightly different brown leather English collar-cuff boxes for jewelry or trinkets. These are in very good condition with only the usual imperfections and patina that come with items of this age or time period. The straps and fasteners are intact and functional. The dark brown is slightly larger at: 7" by 7" and is simply marked on interior lid: D. RIDLEY 456. It has slightly more wear to inside frame/& lid. The 2nd piece is a more fitting box with a center frame, a leather interior insert to lid--soft grained. Measures appx: 6 & 3/4" by 6 & 3/4" Unmarked, with functional or working leather strap, hinge, & fastener. These are a wonderful example of the days gone by examples of superb design and expert craftsmanship! They make for great accent decors and/or functional trinket dresser jewelry boxes!
