Vintage Japanese Sake Crock Barrel Jug Bamboo Reed Rope Cask Japan READ
This vintage Japanese Sake Jug originated from the estate of a US Navy Doctor who lived in Japan from 1972 to 1976. The container is empty, and the metal cap seems to be stuck and I did not use excessive force to try and open it for fear I may damage it. There is some light surface wear present. I have not attempted to clean this in any way. It appears to be made of glass with some sort of white casing / shell. I believe this to be 1 liter. This would make a great addition to any collection and look great on display.
