This listing is for a gorgeous Butter Dish - this is a vintage piece made by Otagiri Japan, and features a Chicken hand crafted from ceramic! It is quite old and does have some wear and tear. There is the odd little nibble/chip here and there, the most notable being on the chickens head, as shown in the last few photos.
