For sale is an amazing vintage 800 silver and enamel mirrored compact. The cover of the compact is a scene with 3 women standing in a group as a man leans on a wall watching them, as if about to approach. In the background is a city scene with several buildings and an arched bridge over a waterway. Below the closure the compact was marked 800 Italy, but has worn away from use.
This piece is in great condition, but has minor wear consistent with age and use. There is a small age spot at the top of the mirror on the inside of the compact and has been pictured for your review.
The compact is 3 1/4 inches long, 3 1/4 inches wide and almost a 1/2 an inch thick.
