Vintage HARRY MORGAN Navajo turquoise/sterling silver ring; sz 6.5:
$195.00

Striking Navajo ring with oval beautifully matrixed turquoise cab with top and bottom bezels and antiquing. It is signed by celebrated Navajo artist, Harry Morgan. It is approximately size 6 1/2 and weighs approximately 14.2 grams. It is approximately 1 7/8\" wide and tapers to the back for a comfortable fit. We purchased this ring for our gallery inventory in the 1993 and it has been in inventory or our safe, unworn since then. It appears to have had had a prior life but is in excellent condition. It is made in Harry Morgan\'s classic style so purposely antiqued and designed to look very old. Harry Morgan is a highly collectible, award-winning Navajo master silversmith whose works have been internationally recognized. His jewelry is often created from stamps he made or inherited from family members. He began making and celebrating jewelry at a very young age in the 1960\'s. He used only natural stones and prided himself on the \"bigness, boldness\" and traditional design of his work. He was inspired to create jewelry in the \"old pawn\" style by his mother. Sadly, the world lost Harry Morgan in 2008 but his wonderful creations live on. Please examine carefully and let us know if you have any questions or need further information/photos. Priced under market for immediate sale. Please visit and follow our store for more exciting contemporary and traditional Native American (Navajo, Hopi, Zuni, Santo Domingo) pieces from a variety of artists and tribal affiliations. American West Boutique was founded in 1992 and is an online seller of Native American Jewelry and Art, cowboy/girl boots (Rios of Mercedes, Ammons, Anderson Bean, Luchese, Stallion, Tres Outlaws, Sterling, Justin, Tony Lama, Panhandle Slim), leather and suede and apparel. We were a proud member of the IACA (Indian Arts & Crafts Association) while it was in existence and still uphold its high standards of integrity, honest representation and the honor of all Native American Arts. Shipped to Continental US only by UPS to street addresses only. No PO boxes, please. Payment must be received within 5 days of sale or item may be relisted.
