Vintage Griswold chrome plated No 10 cast iron tite-top dutch oven in restored condition. The internal cooking surface has some pitting in the center of the cooking surface. Pot sits dead flat on a glass stove top.There are no chips, cracks or repairs to pan or lid.
This item was stripped down to bare metal using collector approved lye bath and electrolysis treatments. This process insures the removal all residue from previous use making it safe to use once more. Pan is well seasoned with several rounds of seasoning at 450 degrees with Crisco for several hours . This item is photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, item will take on a brown color. Item is much darker under normal light.
