Deer foot handle is missing hair and shows wear. Knife is solid as a whole, fits hand well. Good quality steel. Blade, crossguard and brass plate shows wear
This piece appears to have been period made from older parts. Handle has nice brass plate reinforcing the bottom. Cross guard appears that he aluminum. The blade appears to be much older carbon steel
