Lovely vintage set of Fostoria etched glass in the Romance pattern. There are four 7-in salad plates and a salt and pepper shaker set. These were made in 1942. The pattern is a really intricate and delicate floral and bow design. I took a photo of each plate so you can inspect condition.
READ One plate does have a chip on the underside of the plate. You can also see the chip on the main side but it's less noticeable. I've placed these photos at the end of the plates in the photo roll. They are number 11 and number 12 in the photos. Otherwise they are in lovely condition and not much normal wear and tear as you would expect from something which is 80 years old.
The salt and pepper shakers have that same lovely and beautifully delicate design. The top of one of the shakers does have some
flaking on the metal portion. I have close-ups of that as well.
