Fisher Body Craftsman\'s Guild Contest Car + Shipping Box
- Authentic Estate sale find! Buried deep in a garage, we found this little gem. It was sealed up and we had no idea what, if anything, was inside until we got home.

- Fisher Body/ GM held a competition every year for college scholarships and a guaranteed job with GM!
- This car is dated 1940
- made of wood and some metal. Wheels are plastic.
- There is a lot of great info about the Fisher Body Craftsman\'s Guild model car contest on the web. Check jitterbuzz for a great blog about it. Basically, it was an annual competitionheld to attract skilled workers to GM. The winner got a 4 year university scholarship and a guaranteed job with GM after graduation!
Measurements
· Condition: Very Good. The box is dusty and split in one corner. We have not done a thing to this. It is just as we found it (other than knocking the big cobwebs off)!

Very Good: The item is sound in structure with some minor flaws. It’s often possible to take an item in this condition and turn it into an item in excellent condition.
Good: The item is sound but no longer in pristine condition. In this case, you normally could not achieve excellent condition even if repairs are made. That said, often if you love a piece, you will just accept the flaws. These are often vintageitems that were simply well loved and thus well-worn in their day.
