Vintage Art Deco Red Marble Double Inkwell Desk Pen Inkstand For Sale

Offered for sale is a vintage Art Deco period double inkwell. Red marble base with two patinated zinc inkwells. The white metal inkwells are decorated in a classic Art Deco motif. The vintage inkstand has a dip pen well, or tray carved into the marble. The marble inkstand measures eight and one-quarter inches wide by three inches high by five inches deep. On one of the inkwells, the hinge has a replaced pin. Inkwell liners are missing and the marble has a chip from the underside of one of the corners as well as a few tiny abrasions, see pictures for greater detail.
