This listing is for a Vintage / Antique Pat Appld Chilled Semi Steel Anvil Silversmith Goldsmith ~5” tall by ~9” long. It appears to a very versatile multipurpose anvil, with lots of different grooves and cups for various functions, especially on the base, I believe this is called a swage block. Possibly these could serve as crucibles? It is not marked by a maker or model number. It is only marked Pat Applied For & Chiller Semi Steel. The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely won’t have! A great collectors item, for use display gifting or decor.
It is in good condition, with no major damage. Has some minor wear of seemingly light and infrequent use. Definitely appears as tho it is ready for many continued years of service for its new owner. I am not an expert in these anvils and have not tested it in any way. Lightly cleaned to remove grime, otherwise as found.
