Vintage 60s Prestige Products Table Lamp Chrome Glass Mid Century Modern Atomic:
$175

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an wonderful vintage chrome table lamp manufactured by Prestige Products. Circa '60s. The lamp is constructed of chrome, with three snap in place round glass orbs that go over the bulbs. They rest on chrome disc receptacles. The on/off push switch is located on the round base. The lamp has two setting: one is regular intensity for the bulbs, while a second click will lower the intensity. With both settings, all three bulbs remain lit at the same time. The lamp still retains an original Prestige Products / Underwriter Laboratories sticker on the inside of two of the chrome receptacles(see photo).
NOTE: We also have the matching floor lamp for sale in a separate listing.
Measurements: With the round glass shades in place, approx. 29" tall (highest light) x 12" wide x 12" deep. The round chrome base measures approx. 10" in diameter. Each of the three round glass globe fixtures is approx. 6" in diameter.
Condition: Very good condition - no dents, dings, scratches, rust, oxidation, repairs, etc. The chrome could use a gentle cleaning / polishing. We choose to leave it in the condition in which it was acquired. The glass shades that go around the bulbs can also benefit from a gentle cleaning as well. Two of the three glass globes have been replaced. While they are the same size, they do not rest flush with the chrome receptacle below them. These two glass globes have slight necks at the bottom - the kind that are needed for them to rest flush are the 6" neckless variety. Despite this, the lamp still functions and looks fine - we just want to mention this for accuracy. The electrical wiring appears to be original, and it is in good shape - no frays, splits, exposed and/or brittle wires. As with all vintage lighting and electronics, we always recommend having the wiring looked at by a licensed professional prior to long term use. Being sold "as-is" - please ask any questions that you may have prior to purchase, and we will respond back to you in a timely manner.
