ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage atomic era tripod table lamp that was manufactured by FAIP (Fine Arts In Plastic) Circa \'50s. The lamp is constructed of a plaster base that sits atop aniron and wire tripod base. The plaster is textured, and is gray and white in color. The lamp is signed FAIP along the bottom edge (see photo). No shade - it\'ll be left up to the purchaser to provide their own shade.
MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 24\" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the harp x 8\" wide x8\" deep. The plaster portion of the base alonemeasures approx. 7\" tall x 5\" wide. Each of the three (3) legs is approx. 3.5\" tall, and the distance between each of the legs is approx. 8\". The distance from the bottom of the lamp to the light socket is approx. 16\" high. The lamp is pretty solid for its size, and weighs approx. 6.6 lbs.
CONDITION: Very good condition - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. - just a little bit of light wear that is consistent with age and handling. The metal base shows light traces of color wear that can easily be touched up or just left alone - we chose to leave it in the condition acquired. The electrical wiring looks is in good shape - there are no frays, splits, exposed, hard/brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly encourage having the items inspected by a licensed professional prior to long-term use.
