Vintage 1947 Smith Corona Portable 4 Bank Typewriter- Case- Black Keys-Very Nice For Sale

Vintage 1947 Smith Corona Portable 4 bank typewriter serial number 4 A 254352 in very good working condition and nice black tuxedo striped finish with a very nice finish. The beautiful black glass keys strike and return and it advances well as you type. The platen, paper feed rollers, feet, back space are in good condition and the paper feeds well. I have installed a new ribbon. Types exceptionally well as noted in the example. The keyboard is very nice and clean as is the typewriter. The case is in good shape but does show signs of wear. The typewriter measures 12 1/2” x 12 1/4”x 5 1/4” tall. The case measures 14 1/2” x 13 1/4” x 5 3/4”. This is a nice typewriter with normal wear to 73 years old.
