Here is a beautiful Original 1932 Napier Dial A Drink Silver Plated cocktail shaker. You will see other Napier Dial A Drink cocktail shakers, but most likely you will not see another 1932 one. This Silver Plated cocktail shaker was the first cocktail shaker manufacturedby Napier of Meriden, CT. It was designed by Le Roy H. Fontan in 1932. Known at that time as the \"Tells-You-How-Mixer\", the outer sleeve turns to reveal 15 various cocktail recipes. It is stamped to the base Napier Patent Pending. Shortly thereafter, Napier started stamping U.S. And Foreign Patents Pending. So, there are only a handful of these 1932 ones made. It\'s ultra rare to see one come up for sale. Most are in collections.Even though the shaker does have some normal wear, with scratches and plate wear, it is in excellent shape! There are no dents. The bottom does have some plate loss from setting it down and use. The insides are extremely clean, one of the nicest I\'veseen. The outer sleeve spins perfectly. There are 15 recipes. Alexander, Bacardi, Between The Sheets, Bronx, Clover Club, Dry Martini, Dubonnet, Gin Ricky, Manhattan, Old Fashioned, Orange Blossom, Palm Beach, Side Car, Tom Collins, and Whiskey Sour. The ingredients are in Red lettering and are read through the windows. At least 90% of the Red lettering is still intact, which is very hard to find. The cocktail shaker is about 4\" wide and stands about 11\" tall. What a nice, hard to find shaker, to add to your collection. Enjoy!
