Being offered is a stunning Signed Vintage / Antique Large Korean Celadon Vase with a Flying Crane Motif , 13 1/8\", Korea. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, wear, or repairs. This traditional Korean vase measures approximately 13 1/8\"tall and about 6 3/4\"at its widest. It weighs nearly 3 lbs.—unpackaged. It is beautifully crafted with a wonderful celadon crackle glaze and a flying crane motif throughout. It is made of fine porcelain with a stunning teardrop silhouette. It is signed at its base and sits solidly well-balanced. The top flares out just slightly with a slightly lighter edge. The form is elegant and the color, finish, and flying crane motif are subtle and enchanting. I do not know the exact year this piece was made.It was purchased at an estate sale in East Hampton Long Island, New York and was told by the original owner that the piece was an antique or near antique and had been in her personal collection for years.NOTE ON COLOR:The last few shots make the color appear a bit yellow due to the lighting, in actuality,the vase is a true Celadon green as shown in the prior shots.
