This german tall case clock is very fancy. The wooden case is very attractive and highly detailed, the lathe turned spindles are one of a kind. The movement is correct and very heavy duty. The clock produces sound or strikes on the hour and half hour by striking a coiled gong. The sound is very deep and has a nice tone. I have worked on and repaired clocks for twenty years, mainly antique tall case clocks like this one. The clock can easily and safely be shipped to you.
